EGOutfit: Cold City Woman

Hi Egos! Amidst all of my unpacking stress I had to take care of a couple of things and unwanted appointments. Whenever I don't really want to meet with someone but for some reason are forced to I dress up even more than usual and always in a cool manner. 

I have this "don't even talk to me" air around me that is supposed to intimidate those that waste my precious time. Today was one of these occasions. So here comes the look!

 A leather jacket is so obvious when you want to appear tough. Jeans is also quite rough and this over all grey-black-jeans combo makes for a badass look!

My New Aparrtment: Living in Chaos!

Hi Egos! The moment we've all been waiting for has finally come: I moved in my new apartment this past weekend! It was hard, exhausting, a bit annoying and funny too. But first things first!

I couldn't really start packing until Thursday because we didn't have any cardboard boxes which made me pretty nervous. However one of my sister's friends collected 13 of them and gave them to us. With that I could easily pack most of our stuff. :-) Clothes and shoes were packed in sacks. :-P

My New Apartment: Goodbye, Old Neighbourhood

Hi Egos, as I can't mention enough the new apartment is only a few nights away from being my new home. In fact it's only two more nights before the big day.

I had the chance to go grocery shopping one last time. I used the opportunity to take out some trash :D and to stroll around my current neighbourhood one last time. It really is a nice place. As usual there are a lot of things that I SHOULD have done but didn't take time to do.

I woke up this morning and saw this. I can't even say what woke me but seeing this was worth it!

EGOxperiment: Korean, Plastic Bagged Water Ice!

Hi Egos! I know a lot of you are waiting for the grand finale of the Magnum First Kiss series - so am I. However I couldn't find the last one anywhere yet. I'll keep searching of course! I might even contact Magnum directly and demand them to let me try that last one :D

While gathering all my patience for that last Kiss I accidently found something to sooth my growing impatience! This deliciousness is something I actually only knew from Korean dramas. 

Please ignore my bed hair... Yes I do eat water ice as breakfast :D

EGOtalk: Expectation Vs. Reality - The Beach Edition!

Hi Egos! As you might have noticed by now I tend to expect certain things from people, things (here) and places. I think that having expectations isn't bad at all. To me it's an expression of confidence in yourself or something and an opportunity to grow should those expectations turn out wrong. 

I had to borrow this awesome dress because my pants were soaked!

So what triggered these deep thoughts of mine in the season of carefree vacations? Just that! My first trip that kicked off my vacation was not exactly what I had expected. The idea was to get in a car, drive to the Baltic sea, spend some quality time at the beach and head home in the evening. I've seen so many movies where people very spontaneously did these kinds of trips and had the mot amazing time! It seemed to be the perfect thing for young and cool people like us. ;-)

EGOutfit: Ruby and Bling for Those Windy Summer Days!

Hi Egos, summer has been very interesting but not exactly vacation-esque so far. I had to work every single day. T_T However not anymore! This weeks was my last week of work before my 14 days of awesome vacation!

Flexible and strong willed person that I am I was able to add some free time to my schedule before my vacation though! I love parks and chilling outside. So whenever I can fit in some quality time with mother nature - if you want to call the parks in Berlin that - I do something relaxing.

Like yesterday for instance. I hung out at one of the many awesome places in Berlin and used the opportunity for an outfit shoot. So let's talk clothes, shall we?

I love this ruby coloured dress/long shirt.. Tall girls like me can only wear it as a shirt though...

Crashing a Corporate Party

Hi Egos, summer seems to be the busiest season of the year when in fact it should be filled with lazy days at the beach.

Lounging on top of the world!

However my energy is strong enough to keep up with all kinds of events. My company is in it's annual time of change. A lot of people quit (you can only quit every 3 months) and in fall there'll be even more people who join the company. Those who leave all have their own way of saying goodbye.

The Reason Why I Had to Shower 3 Times to be Completely Clean!

Hi Egos, if you thought I was mud wrestling you're not too far off! However I'm not that into wrestling and am more a party girl. 

Oh yes! In case you haven't noticed I like to party and as wildly as possible. I'm still looking for a couple more party people to dance the night away. (Please send your applications here xD)

Anyways this season seems to be filled with a new festival trend. Have you ever heard of Holi One festivals? There have been so many of them all over the country and especially here in Berlin. They're originally from India and look a little like this if well done:

EGOtorial: Recreating Magic Hair - Backwards!

Hi Egos! I recently got my hair and make-up done for a project that I might be able to share later on. Both were so amazing that I took as many photos as possible in order to recreate the looks later.

I haven't really tried that many hair styles but I've been very interested in all kinds of hair styles that I want to try and probable will. I'm so bad at braiding though that I definitely need to practice some more before I can share it with you :D

But let's get to the hairy part!

The hair dresser did this incredible bun! Can you believe it? Might be pretty easy for you but to me this seems like magic!

So how did she do that? I very slowly untangled my hair and took photos in the process to show you the principle she worked with.

EGOutfit: I don't care about perfection-look

Hi Egos! Do you know these days when you only half heartedly care about your outfit because you're too tired or in a bad mood?

Well I had a day like that. I don't plan my outfit. So they entirely depend on my mood in the morning - believe me overdressed or underdressed should be my middle name. xD Anyways today I made it easy clothingwise because I put on a combination that I've worn a lot. I came up with this look on a creative day and liked it enough for occasions like today.

Makeup and hair aren't done at all. I thought a messy pony tail would do the job during these warm days.

Oh yeah and by the way  this is a look that I wore at work today. ;-) 

Yes, this is not a beauty shoot! It's a spontanous "this is what I'm truly wearing"-shoot! :D
