It's Your Own Fault That I'm stealing Your Treasures, Grandma!

Hi Egos, today I shall talk about a darker side of mine. It's a part of me that I've been nourishing for quite some time now. I'm talking about my tendency to rip my grandmother off her jewelry, bags and hats every time I visit her place :D

She embellished this hat herself! Such a lovely idea if you ask me! 

This really has become a serious problem! She has so many different things in addition to a talent for handicraft. Seriously she can do all kinds of things with sewing machines, wool and stuff like that. On top of that she's lived a long time in Sweden where they have so many flea markets that you can't even escape them.

So I was at her place this past weekend and took a few photos to show you guys why I feel the urge to steal her things :D

This ring is so cool! And yes I got my leopard-PJs ready! :-D 

 One day that watch is gonna be mine!

 Well I wouldn't say no if she gave me this lamp too! :D

Is it really stealing if it stays in the family? I don't think so but if it is: It really isn't my fault. Apparently a love for pretty things runs in my family :D That's why I made these bracelets by the end of the weekend :D

EGOutfit: Natural Spring Beauty

Hi Egos! Can anyone still recall the last EGOutfit? I can't! Let's change that with a lovely spring outfit. We sure did wait a long time for spring...

My main focus was to leave behind all of my black clothes because I feel like I've been wearing nothing else these past couple of months.

I followed the fashion rules and matched something tight with something wide. It's very simple and even a bit casual outfit. The shirt is perfect for these sunny days. It's pretty and has a few studs on each shoulder (how could I ever say no to studs?!) The pair of leggins gives it a rather sporty edge. I even thought that they were meant to be worn to do sports. It was only later that I realized you could also wear them on the streets. xD

They are super comfortable. I wore them during my 5-hour-journey to Frankfurt and can tell you that was the best decision I ever made! :D On a side note if you're wearing a pair of leggings please make sure to cover that pretty ass of yours. Most of the times it doesn't look advantageous in them anyways. ;-)

I've been waiting to sport these heels for months now! I got them on sale last autumn and haven't been able to wear them ever since because it was just too freaking cold. They are so easy to walk in. Totally love them!

I think this is going to be my standard arm candy. Those three bracelets go so well together. They match my new watch and all of my other gold jewelery. Also they don't make much noise so I can even put them on for work.

This outfit is just asking for my new favourite clutch bag. Most of the times that bag is too tiny for my daytime activities but if you're going to a bar or a club this would be my first choice. =)

To match my bracelets and bag I got these long earrings. They remind me of some Native American tribe accessories. They are a bit heavy so I wouldn't recommend dancing or running in them but they certainly look good! I was too lazy to care about make up. Just put on some sun protection and you're good to go. :D

Lastly every perfect Spring Beauty should keep her mood light! Goof around a bit, do funny things and enjoiy the amazing weather!

EGO-made: Studs 'n' Jewels everywhere!

Hi Egos, while I am not eager to become a housewife whatsoever I still like the idea of pimping my stuff. (Raise your hand if you thought of the TV show Pimp my Ride xD) Now don't think I'm some kind of genius. Half of the things I make are suuuuuper weird. I  don't really know how to sew, cooking is rather adventurous if I don't have a recipe and the only things that always turn out well are cakes. :D

However a few things are quite cool. So here are a couple of things I made:

This is where I keep my money. My sister actually took that photo when she was in New York.

I pimped these two backpacks to take care of my back but do it in a stylish way. I have two of them to be able to change colours according to my outfit. :-) I want to have one that's black and made of leather but I haven't found the right one yet. 

Now you might notice that these alterations aren't a big deal. The studs were easy to clip on and the jewels used to be a necklace that I just didn't wear anymore. So I simply glued it to the straps. Idiotproof so to say. I think when it comes to crafting it doesn't matter how hard it was to make. The important thing is that it matches your vision.

And finally here is one of my earlier attempts to be creative. I even used colours :D I don't count this one to my stellar creations.

So these are my ego-made things. I want to give colouring a try again. Maybe I'll do one of those ombre shirts or pants that are so stylish nowadays.
